Cydia Version 1.1.16 Fixes iOS 8 Restore from Backup Issue

The latest version available is Cydia update 1.1.16 which you can download if you are already jailbroken on the iOS 8 platform. Apple has introduced its most recent operating system for mobile devices in September 2014. It took hackers nearly two months to jailbreak iOS 8 / 8.1 iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and if you download Cydia 1.1.16 you will solve different bugs on your iDevice.

According to users, those who have installed earlier versions of Cydia 1.1.14 and 1.1.15 experiences Cydia gone after Restore from Backup issue. There were also bugs with multitasking and App Store, but all the issues will be gone once you update.

The new v.1.1.16 is the cool Cydia Restore from Backup bug fix as all you have to do is download and update the program. iPad users who experienced troubles with login dialog on their Apple tablet devices will fix them using Cydia 1.1.16 release.

If you decide to stay on the current version  you will still have to reinstall Cydia package each time you use the option called “Restore from Backup” when you restore the iDevice from the saved backup copy through iTunes. This way you will allow the device safely rebooting while the passcode option is turned on.

To avoid this problem, just update and it will be gone and you won’t have to reinstall Cydia Installer this often.

To get the update, just launch Cydia app on your jailbroken iOS 8 Home screen and select Changes menu where the most recent version is available for download and installation.
