Step 1. Do not install iOS 8, 8.0.1 or 8.0.2 on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch if your device is running iOS 7.1.2 or earlier firmware version.

Step 2. Do not restore your smartphone or tablet because you will lose your jailbreak state along with all the programs you had.

Step 3. Stop installing jailbreak tweaks on your iDevice from Cydia or other places. You might get a bad tweak that would made you restore and lose your jailbreak status. Be careful and very attentive right now!

Step 4. You are highly advised to uninstall all the tweaks you are not using to avoid getting a compatibility problem.

Step 5. To avoid possible restore and losing jailbreak status you are not advised to play with iFile and othe File applications that can cause you to get into an issue and being forced to restore.

Step 6. In case you get into a reboot loop issue don’t restore. The mobile substrate has a special safe mode option that allows you getting out of the reboot loop and not lose your jailbreak.

Step 7. You should also install OpenSSH [SemiRestore7] app from Cydia that allows you to restore that the near stock state and stay jailbroken.
